Performs all duties and responsibilities of the city government under the jurisdiction of the department. Prepares the City's proposed budget, ensures management according to the budget and controls its expenditure, implements approved budget measures, monitors the financial situation on an ongoing basis, and prepares financial analyses.

The Office fulfils the function of the central registration point and the duties arising from special legislation, in particular Act No. 570/1991 Coll.
