It is a body of the City of Pilsen, which performs its tasks in the field of territorial self-government and state administration delegated to the City of Pilsen.
Urban district in the southern part of the statutory city. The Litický brook and the Radbuza river, on which the České údolí dam was built, flow through the district. The first historical mention of the village dates back to 1211. In 1970, Litice was again annexed to Pilsen after six years.
The village of Lhota was probably founded by the powerful Drslavic family, who owned the territory on the right and left bank of the Radbuza River. The village of Lhota became the 10th municipal district following the agreement on annexation to Pilsen in winter 2003. It covers 389 ha in the south-western part of the town and has about 900 inhabitants.
Urban district in the west of the statutory town. The municipal district consists of almost the entire cadastral territory of the historic village of Křimice and a small south-western tip of the cadastre of the historic village of Radčice u Plzně. Near Pilsen in the northwest direction is the village of Malesice with an area of 903 ha and about 606 inhabitants. The first written records of the village date back to 1239, when it was owned by Zdeslav, son of Ratmir. Malesice belongs to Pilsen as its 9th district since 2003.
The district covers an area of more than 5 km2 in the southern part of Pilsen. Its north-western border is formed by the right bank of the Úhlava River, while the forest encroaches on its cadastre to the south-east. The historical centre of Černice was built in the first half of the 15th century, at that time it belonged to the city of Pilsen.
With its area of 3,546 hectares, the Pilsen 3 Municipal District is one of the largest districts in Pilsen. The population as of 1 January 2012 was 50 312. The district combines both the historical part of the city and historically younger parts such as Bory, Doudlevce, Skvrňany, Nová Hospoda, Zátiší, Valcha and Radobyčice.
The municipal district of Plzeň 2 - Slovany consists of the local districts of Božkov, Doudlevce, Hradiště, Koterov, Lobzy and Východní předměstí. The cadastral area of the district is 1,639 ha and there are approximately 35,000 inhabitants. The district is located in the south-eastern part of the city. Provision of CzechPOINT service.
The city district is in the northern part of Pilsen, sometimes referred to as the Northern Suburbs. It includes the territory of the old town district of Roudná and the formerly independent municipality of Bolevec with the settlements of Bílou Hora and Košutka, supplemented by the residential development of Lochotín, then gradually connected by the settlements of Lochotín, Bolevec, Košutka and Vinice.
