The Office issues decisions on granting a licence, on suspension of the practice of a trade, maintains the trade register and accepts applications for registration or notifications in relation to the tax office or notifications of vacancies or their filling in relation to the employment office.

We keep records of immovable property. We manage technical digital maps, geographic information system and cooperate with network administrators. We provide contractual relations in the field of investment construction and land use planning. We prepare documents for the preparation of strategic plans.

Managing the city's property and property relations. Investment and non-investment construction, repair and maintenance of buildings owned by the city, real estate registration, management of housing and non-housing fund. Permitting of trenching of local roads.

Manage city property and property rights. Providing for the preparation and implementation of construction capital projects, routine building maintenance, renovations and repairs to City property. Preparation of lease agreements for flats and non-residential premises, calculation sheets, rent and acceptance reports.

The office issues decisions on granting a concession, on suspension of trade, extracts from the criminal register, from the commercial register, from the trade register and from the land register. It keeps the trade register and the register of agricultural entrepreneurs. It cooperates with the Czech Trade Inspectorate.

Providing administration in the fields of education, culture, heritage conservation and tourism activities. Preparation of budget proposals for schools and educational establishments. Preparation and provision of documents for the publication of the monthly Horažďovický obzor.

Providing civil registry and population registration. Dealing with waste management and other environmental issues in the town. Permitting of felling of trees growing outside the forest, air protection, pollution charges, governmental administration of waste management and others.

We carry out state administration in the field of construction, issue zoning decisions on the location of construction, change of land use, protection zone, division or consolidation of land, change of construction and on the change of the impact of construction on the use of land. We authorise constructions or their changes.

Care for disabled citizens and social protection of children. We deal with minority issues. We keep records of the city's property in the field of health and social affairs.

We prepare city budget proposals. We check the compliance of the circulation of accounting documents, make payments of incoming invoices. Maintain payroll records, records of all accounts receivable and city property. We issue accounting guidelines. We administer all local fees.

Management of the city's economy. Permitting of public lotteries and raffles, public collections, permitting the operation of slot machines, administration of taxes and fees. Also, accounting and control of the City's budget, handling payroll for City employees, liquidation of invoices and travel accounts.

Providing construction legal services to the City. Coordination of land development, acquisition and negotiation of land-use planning documentation. Issuing planning decisions on the location of buildings, permitting of buildings, changes to buildings or removal of buildings. Implementation of state building supervision.

Ensuring environmental protection. Management of air protection, nature and landscape protection, waste management or agriculture. Protection of animals against cruelty. Focus also on water management, forestry, hunting and fisheries. Keeping records of fishing licences.
