The activities of the workplace are mainly focused on services for the residents of the town districts of Dubí, Dříň and Vrapice. The district covers an area of more than 5 km2 in the southern part of Pilsen. Its north-western border is formed by the right bank of the Úhlava River, while the forest encroaches on its cadastre to the south-east. The historical centre of Černice was built in the first half of the 15th century, at that time it belonged to the city of Pilsen.
