The municipal district of Plzeň 2 - Slovany consists of the local districts of Božkov, Doudlevce, Hradiště, Koterov, Lobzy and Východní předměstí. The municipal district covers an area of 4070411 m2, has about 937 inhabitants and is located on the left bank of the Mže River, at the exit towards Pilsen it is surrounded by a protected natural rock formation on which a romantic castle from the early 20th century is built.
