The city district is in the northern part of Pilsen, sometimes referred to as the Northern Suburbs. The village of Lhota was probably founded by the powerful Drslavic family, who owned the territory on the right and left bank of the Radbuza River. The village of Lhota became the 10th municipal district following the agreement on annexation to Pilsen in winter 2003. It covers 389 ha in the south-western part of the town and has about 900 inhabitants.
