Draws up the draft budget of the city according to the requirements and documents of the city authorities, the various departments of the city authority, the organisational units and the contributory organisations set up by the city, and monitors and controls its implementation.

Providing registry and civil registration, deciding on name and surname changes, carrying out verification of signatures and copies of documents, maintaining an electronic filing system, issuing permits for the location and operation of gaming machines and resolving administrative offences.

We provide methodical and control activities towards the registry offices falling within the administrative district of Podbořany. We carry out examinations of officials assigned to municipal offices in the field of vidimation and legalization or tests of professional competence of officials assigned to registry offices.

The Transport Department consists of three sections of traffic administrative agencies, the Road Administration Office and traffic offences. In addition, the department is responsible for the public transport agenda.
