We ensure and perform tasks arising from the Act on Financial Control in Public Administration and on Amendments to Certain Acts. We cooperate with the bodies carrying out public administration control, check the effectiveness and quality of the internal control system, prepare a medium-term plan and annual plans.

Provides maintenance, repair and development of roads within the city. Maintains a register of drivers and vehicles. We deal with administrative offences and impose fines for violations of the Road Traffic Act, provide prevention in the field of road safety.

Finance, budgeting and administration of the departments of education, culture and physical education. We provide, with the participation of the city, the promotion of cultural events in the city, register and manage memorial plaques, monuments and memorial sites in the city. We cooperate with other organizations of the city and their promotion.

It develops and implements the concept of care for all components of the city's environment. We issue decisions on felling of trees growing outside the forest in the territory of the city and in important landscape elements, we notify the relevant department of the Police of the Czech Republic of the withdrawal of a hunting license or its termination.

Care for disabled citizens and social protection of children. We deal with minority issues. We keep records of the city's property in the field of health and social affairs.

Providing civil registration and population registration. Arranging elections for legislative and council elections. Carrying out certification of deeds and signatures on deeds. Ensures cooperation with the district court, the district prosecutor's office and the Police of the Czech Republic.

Handles planning permissions, notifications of small buildings, building alterations and maintenance works, building permits and approvals.

The department provides for the overall economic affairs of the city. We specialize in the areas of management and handling of funds including the related agendas of the Chief Economic Officer.

Management of residential and non-residential premises and immovable property of the city, preparation and implementation of all disposition of these assets.

Providing subsidies from EU funds, state budget and state and other funds. We process simple projects, grants and cooperate with the relevant departments of the application for subsidies. The authority issues decisions on granting a license, on suspension of the trade. Maintains the trade register within the scope of its administrative district. It receives and handles applications for cancellation of business activity, announcement or termination of business establishment, acquires data concerning the business entity.

The Municipality performs the functions of a municipal authority of a municipality with extended jurisdiction in a delegated capacity throughout the city, unless otherwise provided by law or regulation. In the centre there is a Skoda car museum and an observation tower, where there is an exhibition of scarecrows.
