The authority issues decisions on granting a license, on suspension of the trade. Maintains the trade register within the scope of its administrative district. It receives and handles applications for cancellation of business activity, announcement or termination of business establishment, acquires data concerning the business entity.

It develops and implements the concept of care for all components of the city's environment. We issue decisions on felling of trees growing outside the forest in the territory of the city and in important landscape elements, we notify the relevant department of the Police of the Czech Republic of the withdrawal of a hunting license or its termination.

Providing civil registration and population registration. Arranging elections for legislative and council elections. Carrying out certification of deeds and signatures on deeds. Ensures cooperation with the district court, the district prosecutor's office and the Police of the Czech Republic.

The Municipality performs the functions of a municipal authority of a municipality with extended jurisdiction in a delegated capacity throughout the city, unless otherwise provided by law or regulation. In the centre there is a Skoda car museum and an observation tower, where there is an exhibition of scarecrows.

We ensure and perform tasks arising from the Act on Financial Control in Public Administration and on Amendments to Certain Acts.
