The purpose of the Sirius Foundation is to make an all-round contribution to the improvement and development of the quality of life of children. Through its activities, the Foundation seeks to develop and apply fundamental human rights and humanitarian principles and declares its commitment to contribute to the betterment of the lives of children who have been less fortunate in life.

The Czech family foundation of Michaela and Zdeněk Bakal, founded in 2007, aims to support education. The foundation's portfolio includes college Scholarship, high school scholarships, Kaplicky Internship, Journey: Journalism Bootcamp and Achilles Data development programs.

Our foundation has been caring for children's school and after school activities for over 25 years. Thanks to our project "In Prague we teach children to play sports" over 9000 children a year play sports for free. We also organize an annual charity collection for the Motol Children's Oncology Hospital. Last but not least, we also help children from orphanages.

The Foundation Fund was established in 2017 to support the development of healthcare facilities and other institutions and entities in the health and population health sector, in all key areas of the healthcare sector.

We ensure effective coordinated cooperation between partners to improve educational outcomes and wellbeing and reduce educational inequalities in the participating areas of the Czech Republic.

Promoting language and other subjects and foreign tours at the Gateway of Languages Primary School. In addition, the foundation supports various activities at the school, including sports games and computer typing.

We believe in the power of Czech science and its influence on the development of society. Our foundation recognises scientific excellence and supports research and education. We support scientists in sharing ideas and popularizing science among the youth.
