Our centre is a joint project of six institutes of the Czech Academy of Sciences and two faculties of Charles University in Prague. We focus on research and development in the fields of biotechnology and biomedicine.

Bioprospecting is focused on applied ecology related to the authorization to carry out biological evaluation in the sense of § 67 according to §45 i of the Act No. 114/1992 Coll., on Nature and Landscape Protection, as amended.
