Conduct research in animal physiology and genetics. We focus on the study of unique characteristics of domestic, wild and laboratory animals. We maintain a laboratory in developmental biology, biochemistry and molecular biology of germ cells, DNA integrity, animal embryology, tumor biology and more.

In particular: measurement of selected technical parameters of products, certification of products, conformity assessment of products, inspection activities, assessment of functional characteristics of products, assessment of compliance with standards and regulations in force abroad.

Teaching specializes in a center for early medieval studies, a research center for the history of Central Europe, or the art and culture of early modern Moravia. We provide professional services for the development and implementation of national water policy focusing on hydraulics, hydrology, hydrogeology. We are engaged in promoting water protection, flood prevention and waste and packaging management, research on the status, use and changes of aquatic ecosystems and their links in the landscape.

We focus on preclinical and clinical research, particularly in the areas of cardiology, neurology and oncology, to improve patient care.
