The National Film Archive is a state contributory organisation established by the Ministry of Culture. It takes care of the Czech film heritage.

The Research Institute is responsible for the advancement of knowledge and the transfer of knowledge in the sciences of soil conservation, complex land reclamation, pedology, landscape formation and use, and informatics related to these disciplines. It carries out soil and water analyses, operates the SOWAC-GIS geoportal, produces maps and provides data.

We operate a European research centre. We specialize in the development and operation of the world's most intense laser system.

Engaged in the development and application of high energy, high repetition rate solid state diode pumped lasers.

Our centre is a joint project of six institutes of the Czech Academy of Sciences and two faculties of Charles University in Prague. We focus on research and development in the fields of biotechnology and biomedicine.
