She checks on the elderly person, ensures the running of the household, cleans, shops, cooks, serves meals, accompanies the elderly person for a walk and, last but not least, provides social contact, which is an important psychological support for the elderly person.

The social ambulance in Jihlava contains two social services for the homeless. 1. Social Ambulance - VESPER is a dormitory that can be used from evening to morning for overnight stays.

It helps young people to cope and deal with adverse situations, for example in school, in the family, among friends and peers. Together with them, it creates a safe space, gives them information, shows them ways to spend their free time, helps them to navigate in a healthy environment and leads them to independence.
