We are engaged in protecting the lives, health and property of residents during fires and providing effective assistance during emergencies. We have our own fire fighting equipment. We also organize cultural and social events.

The first written record dates back to 1318. The village is located at an altitude of 416 metres. Provision of Czech POINT services. The village has a TJ Sokol Kondrac, a volunteer fire brigade, a Roman Catholic parish and a choir. We operate a ski lift and others.
The club is intended for school-age children and serves as a place for meeting peers, for meaningful spending of children's free time. In the club, children can prepare for school, play board games together, create or just relax. Visiting the club is free of charge.
The Tramp settlement was founded by two friends Jarda Tyrnerer and Honza Filip in the valley below Chotýšny in 1935. The desire for romance and a return to nature brought other friends to the valley. The first hut "Opatia" was built and after it many others. The song "Osado malá" became the village anthem.
