As citizens and members of the association, we want to influence the environment in which we live in our city. Our aim is to promote the citizens to co-determine as much as possible about their street, their neighbourhood and the city of Písek.

The BUDDIES Club of the 4th Armored Division Písek, z.s. is committed to preserving and developing the legacy of the Allied troops who liberated Southwest Bohemia from Nazism in 1945. We organize May celebrations of the liberation of Písek and the surrounding area by the U.S. Army, mapping stories and building memorial sites in the region.

Our organization focuses on supporting foster, guardianship and foster families. We offer educational and professional counseling, help create a loving environment for children, and provide necessary training for foster parents. Together we build safe conditions for children who need our help.

Currently, the Union of Municipalities of the Písek Region (SORP) with its 70 member municipalities is one of the largest associations in the Czech Republic, covering almost the entire territory of the former Písek district. The total number of inhabitants of the federated municipalities is about 69 thousand.

Our goal is to expand the existing infrastructure and create tools to more effectively utilize CCC's internal resources and capabilities in order to positively promote economic growth and functional collaboration among members.
