The association was founded in response to the efforts of miners to resume gravel mining in the immediate vicinity of the village. The association works for the citizens of Lohenice and for people from the wider area who use our locality for recreation, sport and relaxation.

The association exercises fishing law, ensures the breeding, protection and catching of fish, the protection of the environment and develops and popularizes the sport of fishing.
