We create conditions for the development of professional breeding activities. We focus on increasing the professional knowledge and skills of members. We represent and defend their interests. We ensure purposeful breeding of animals, breeding and recognition of new breeds. We improve the performance characteristics of the animals we breed.

The main purpose of the association is to strengthen the popularization, education and awareness of the general public about viticulture and viticulture in the Czech Republic and abroad. In order to achieve this purpose, the association focuses on organising lectures, wine tastings, discussions and similar activities. Among other things, it organises the Klatovy Wine Festival.
