The children's home offers shelter to abandoned children and orphans. Capacity is 72 children, we live in 3 buildings. The education of children in our children's home is mainly focused on preparing them for independent living and for entering the real adult world.

The association exercises fishing law, ensures the breeding, protection and catching of fish or environmental protection and develops and popularizes the sport of fishing. The association also organises amateur, league and international competitions and issues fishing licences. It also organises a fishing club.

We are in the business of holding religious services and religious meetings.

We operate a municipal library. We provide information and bibliographic services. There is a public internet. We also provide lamination and printing of documents.

The department prepares and approves the budget and final accounts of the city, carries out accounting operations. It manages the gaming machines, contractual relations, immovable and movable property of the city. It handles transfers and conveyances of municipal property. It administers local taxes, registers and recovers debts.

Primary school for 55 pupils with a canteen. The school has its own gymnasium on the ground floor of the building equipped with standard tools and equipment. In addition to teaching, pupils take part in various cultural and sporting events.

Kindergarten for 75 children with a school cafeteria. We provide full-day preschool education to children ages 3 to 6.

We run a club. We bring together those interested in Šumava history, local history and ethnography.

Organizing services and providing information about the activities of the Roman Catholic parish.

Performs state administration according to the Building Act and relevant implementing legislation. Performs construction supervision. Initiates proceedings for offences and other administrative offences. Deals with numbering of buildings and names of streets and public spaces.

The department provides environmental protection. It takes care of the citywide registration of green areas. Manages municipal waste charges. Deals with waste management issues. Handles environmental applications.
