Organizing religious services and religious meetings. We allow tourist tours of the monastery. The Cistercian monastery was founded in 1259 by Vok I of Rožmberk. The monastery was dissolved in 1941. In the 1950s, the monastery was dissolved a second time. Now the Cistercians inhabit it again and administer it according to the motto Ora et labora.

We operate a fire brigade. We provide assistance during natural disasters and incidents. We create conditions to effectively protect the life and health of citizens and property from fires.

The municipal police ensure local public order matters. It controls compliance with generally binding ordinances and regulations of the municipality. It supervises compliance with the rules of civil coexistence. It contributes to the protection of persons and property, solves disturbances, imposes and collects block fines.

The parish holds services and retreats.

The congregation holds church services and spiritual meetings. We accept the Bible as our only creed and derive from it the basic articles of faith.

The Department provides for the operation of technical services, cemetery management, housing and non-residential premises management, the course of execution of community service sentences, the management of residential buildings owned by the city, the management and operation of waste collection sites and the management of public lighting.

The Department of the Environment carries out the exercise of state administration under delegated powers in the fields of waste management, water management, air protection, nature and landscape protection and protection of the agricultural land fund.

We operate a children's group. The aim of the project is to expand the childcare service at the place of implementation and to improve the employment conditions for women with children in Vyšší Brod and the surrounding area.

The department provides certification of signatures and documents, requests for an extract from the criminal register, keeping and administration of civil registers, registration of births, marriages, deaths in civil registers, processing of documents for registration of civil events outside the republic for the Special Registry Office Brno and weddings in the civil registry district.

An international educational movement for youth and children aged 6 and up organizing meetings, expeditions, events and camps. The basic mission is to promote the personality development of young people, their spiritual, moral, intellectual, social and physical abilities.

We run a kindergarten for 90 children with a canteen. We organise trips, playschemes and theatre performances. We provide art and sports activities.

The Department issues decisions on the location of buildings, planning consents, consents for notified buildings, building permits, conducts relevant proceedings, authorises changes to buildings and changes of use of buildings, as well as authorises the use and removal of buildings.

Care for disabled citizens and social protection of children. We deal with minority issues. We keep records of the city's property in the field of health and social affairs.
