We operate a state secondary industrial school providing four-year courses in information technology and engineering. We have the necessary software equipment, a classroom for robotics and automation, and we use a high quality wireless Internet connection.

The city police provide local public order matters. It ensures the control of compliance with generally binding ordinances and the safety of citizens. It deals with traffic situation on local roads and controls speed and parking. It cooperates with the Police of the Czech Republic in solving serious problems and offences.

We offer accommodation for students and the public. The capacity is 99 students who are accommodated in triple rooms on the ground, first and second floors of the building. There is a furnished kitchen on each floor. Pupils staying at DM can use the clubhouse, three study rooms equipped with TVs, videos and DVDs.

The local library is established to provide public library services. Lending books and magazines for children and adults. Internet offer. The library collection consists of about 12,500 volumes. It includes regional literature. We subscribe to 4 magazine titles. The library uses the services of the Moravian Regional Library.
