The first written report dates back to 1220. The township is located at an altitude of 180 metres. The village has a kindergarten and primary school, a parish, a pharmacy, several wineries and a gas station.

We hold regular or special services and religious meetings. Services are for adults and children, church members and the general public. The parish organizes baptisms, pilgrimages for worship, holy communion, faith talks, soul devotions, confession afternoons and other occasional events.
