The first written report dates back to 1384. The village is located at an altitude of 168 metres. There is a marked cycling route through the village. We organize social and cultural events.

Operation of the hunting association.

The mission of the association is to develop and popularize the sport of fishing, to exercise fishing law, to ensure the breeding, protection and catching of fish and to protect the environment. We manage the off-trout fishery Kyjovka with the water reservoir gravel pit Kostická. We breed carp, pike and grass carp.

Providing sports activities and events for exercisers of all ages. We run a judo and football section. We participate in tournaments and competitions.

We run a community centre and library with a wide range of services - lending books and magazines or organising interest groups.

The organisation brings together people with disabilities, particularly physical disabilities. It defends the needs and interests of PWDs and the elderly. We offer professional social counselling. We provide swimming, exercise and rehabilitation for the disabled. We sell Eurokeys.

Providing educational activities in the field of viticulture and winemaking. We organise wine exhibitions. We have 15 members.

A volunteer ambulance service offering assistance to communities affected by emergencies. We provide security of the emergency site against subsequent vandalism and looting in the absence of the owner, staff and technical assistance in case of natural or technical disasters, search for persons.

We are a community of Christians. We are part of the Evangelical Church (Czech Brethren Evangelical Church - CCE) as its congregation, or local group. We meet for worship on Sundays at 9:30. More information about us can be found on our website.

State secondary school of wine providing three-year courses in flower arranging and selling and gardening with a focus on viticulture and winemaking. We organize for pupils exchange stays abroad, cultural, sports and social events.
