We run a primary school for 180 pupils with a dining room and a day care centre. We offer ceramics, language, sports, singing, dance and drama clubs. We organize public performances and school balls. We go on ski training, trips, to the theatre or cinema.
The first written report dates back to 1320. The village is located at an altitude of 238 metres. In the village there are the Ježov Volunteer Fire Brigade, the VLAST hunting association, the Czech Gardening Association, the Ježov Singers and others.

The State Vocational Secondary School provides education in four-year courses in hotel management, ecology and environment, arts and crafts woodworking and two-year extension courses in business and mechanisation of agriculture and forestry. We organize talks, excursions, trips and other events for pupils.
We strive to make people with hearing impairments and the elderly as independent as possible from other people and institutions. We defend their rights and interests.
