Our main goal is the protection of nature and landscape in the region.

Primary art school for 150 pupils with a focus on teaching music. The school has 8 classrooms, including a music lesson room and a concert hall, which also serves as a classroom for collective subjects - orchestral and ensemble playing. The school organizes dozens of performances and concerts every year.

The Toužim Municipal Police operates a municipal CCTV system. The system monitors the Jiřího z Poděbrad Square, Farní Street, Pod Brankou Street, Kostelní Street, Bezručov Street, the surroundings of the Toužim Municipal Office building, the area near the Domeček Kindergarten and part of Plzeňská Street near the primary school.

Primary school for 700 pupils with a day care centre, canteen and after-school clubs. Offers ceramics, art, sports games, skilled hands, cooking, Spanish, and health and beekeeping clubs.

Organising religious services and religious meetings. A congregational library is available. Our pews seat young and old, children and, more recently, toddlers. On Sundays we have around 35 people gathering. We sing from the gospel hymnal and newer hymns taught by the youth.

We help people from socially excluded localities of Toužimsko and Tepelsko to solve unfavourable life situations in the field of employment, education, housing. We provide social activation services for families with children and outreach programmes. We organize leisure activities as prevention of pathological phenomena and others.

Care for disabled citizens and social protection of children. We deal with minority issues. We keep records of the city's property in the field of health and social affairs.

We provide construction and legal services for the city.

The unit ensures the protection of public order, receives notifications from the public and conducts investigations into offences and crimes committed in their area of jurisdiction.

We provide city property management and property law services.

Offering library services. Internet access available. We operate an on-line catalogue of books.
