The Institute is devoted to research on fruit crops grown in the Czech Republic as cash crops. We also focus on the conservation of the gene pools of fruit crops, the study of the effect of rootstocks on grafted varieties, the development of methods of biological and integrated conservation of fruit trees and fruit planting projects.

We offer alternative methods of teaching methods, effective activity-based learning, individual approaches, school garden, playground and forest at the school. We provide extra-curricular activities such as swimming and environmental courses and exchange visits.
