Providing environmental protection. We focus on waste management and maintain cemetery records. We provide collection of municipal waste and hazardous waste and dispensing of bags for mixed and sorted waste. We issue decisions on felling trees outside the forest.

The first written report dates back to 1287. The town is located at an altitude of 300 metres. There are 2411 inhabitants in the territory. You can find here the Church of St. Mary Magdalene, an urban square and nearby is the castle of Kost or Trosky. There is a kindergarten centre.
