The first written report dates back to 1238. The town is situated at an altitude of 284 metres. We have a car camp, a museum, a theatre group, a kindergarten and primary school or an athletic stadium. We organize sports and cultural events.

Operation of an aeromodeling club.

An international educational movement for youth and children aged 6 and up organizing meetings, expeditions, events and camps. The basic mission is to promote the personality development of young people, their spiritual, moral, intellectual, social and physical abilities.

We operate a library offering books and magazines for children and adults. There is internet with printing facilities. We offer factual and bibliographic information. We organise talks, lectures and exhibitions for adults or competitions and library classes for children.

Care for disabled citizens and social protection of children. We deal with minority issues. We keep records of the city's property in the field of health and social affairs.

Our fellowship includes regular services, devotions, visits to the sick, Bible classes and other gatherings. We are a Christian church recognizing the seven sacraments. Basic services include the rite of final farewell or the placing of the urn in our columbarium and outside.

We organize services and religious meetings for mothers, seniors and teenagers. We offer pageants and choir performances. We run a Little Stone Club for children from 4 years old to first grade.

Purpose of the NFLŽ: to achieve the objectives of general interest in the education system, especially in kindergartens, by promoting education and solving social pathological phenomena through a system of activation and motivation of work with books with instruction and in primary schools by developing reading activities. We have the patronage of the Ministry of Education for reading activities.
