The first written report dates back to 1415. The village is situated at an altitude of 457 metres. In the village there is a library, a fire station.

Kindergarten for 36 children with dining room. The kindergarten is a two-classroom school with all-day operation. Increased attention is paid to art education and literary and dramatic activities. Games, theatrical performances and sports activities, competitions and various events during the school year are prepared for the children.

We offer bibliographic and information services, interlibrary loan services and reprographic services. There is a public internet and an on-line catalogue of books. We lend educational literature, children's literature, poetry, fiction and magazines. We rent out the community room for non-commercial purposes.

We are a charitable, humanitarian and religious organization helping people in need. We organize a three-krale collection and other projects.

Kindergarten with garden with a capacity of 113 children. Mixed, speech therapy and pre-school classes available.

Primary school for 42 pupils with day care. We organise regular cultural and nature trips, outdoor schools, Christmas parties, talks with celebrities, competitions, swimming lessons. We participate in the Fruit to Schools project.
