The first written report dates back to 1297. The village is located at an altitude of 579 metres. 950 inhabitants live on the territory. Among the sights there is the Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary, the Cyril and Methodius Conciliation Cross, the statue of St. John of Nepomuk and the Column of St. Anne.
