We are a forest community school that teaches children freedom, respect and responsibility for themselves and the world. In the heart of the Beskydy Mountains, in daily contact with nature, we help children not to lose their inner motivation to learn and discover.

Operation of a folklore ensemble.

With the Our Lysá collection we would like to help projects that try to improve life on Lysá Hora and below. Choose the project that is closest to your heart.

Holding regular or special services and religious meetings. Services are for adults and children, church members and the general public.

We offer a wide range of outdoor activities focused on cross-country skiing and mountain climbing. Our events include challenging routes such as canicross and various cross-country races that test physical fitness and team spirit. Join us and experience the beauty of nature through sport.

Operation of the forest kindergarten.

We run a kindergarten with three classes for 84 children with a canteen. There is a garden equipped with a playground with climbing frames. We offer a ceramics and sports club including English lessons. We provide speech therapy. We organize skiing and pre-swimming courses. We visit the salt cave.

Arranging services and spiritual meetings.

The first written report dates back to 1676. The village is located at an altitude of 415 metres. There is a kindergarten and a primary school, an art gallery, a post office, a pharmacy and a general practitioner's and dentist's office. We organize cultural and social events.

Operation of the Czech Tourist Club.

We deal with facilitated communication. This method of communication enables people with severe communication disorders to express themselves by pointing to letters and pictures. This method is used by people with autism, Down syndrome, cerebral palsy diagnosis, and Parkinson's or Alzheimer's patients.

Offering conservation, helping people and environmental education.

Lending books and magazines. Free access to public internet including printing. Black and white photocopier available. We sell postcards. We provide interlibrary loan service. We provide a delivery service for disabled readers. We organize cultural events.
