The first written report dates back to 1587. The village is located at an altitude of 473 metres. Marked hiking and cycling trails pass through the village, including the Devil's Nature Trail. In the summer months there is a possibility of swimming in the local pond.

We ensure the protection of lives, health and property of residents during fires and provide effective assistance during emergencies. We carry out the liquidation of fires and technical accidents. We are also engaged in organizing cultural events and working with youth.

Operation of a nursery school for 26 children with a dining room. The kindergarten consists of several rooms: a playroom, a room with a library, a dining room, a bedroom, a washroom, a food dispensing room, a cloakroom and a headmaster's room. Our school curriculum, entitled Wandering with the Sun, includes themes dealing with life around us.

We operate a state secondary school providing four-year courses in the Business Academy.

A political, non-partisan and independent organization bringing together participants in the national resistance for liberation in World War II. We also bring together family members and survivors from the 15th year onwards. Other citizens, regardless of their political affiliation and religion, can also become members.

We run a foundation focusing on supporting children from orphanages.

We run the Czech Hunting Administration and offer opportunities to go hunting in the Czech Republic. We honour a gentlemanly approach to hunting game in the wilderness and think about sustainable and ethical management of natural resources.
