We provide sports activities and events for exercisers of all ages. We run an all-rounders section for younger and older pupils. We organize cultural and social events. We organize sports tournaments and competitions.

We offer library services. The library includes a lending library with books for children and adults, a reading room, a study room and a music department. We provide counselling and information services. We lend fiction, popular science literature, maps, magazines, foreign language literature and more.

We operate an association. We organise events, including the Afternoon at the Hájovka for young and old.

We run a theatre company. Our repertoire includes Grandmother, The Horned Princess, Every Something for the Country, The Intrepid Mikes, The Somewhat Lost Princess, The Crackle on the Lagoon, The Stubborn Woman, The Devil's Goldens and others.

The first written report dates back to 1144. The city is located at an altitude of 579 metres. The cultural monuments include mainly the pilgrimage church of the Nativity of the Virgin Mary built by K.I. Dientzenhofer, in the settlement of Nicov, located 2 km east of Plánice, the parish church of St. Blažej and the Marian column.

The unit ensures the protection of public order, receives notifications from the public and conducts investigations into offences and crimes committed in their area of jurisdiction.

We run a club for the elderly. We organize cultural and social events for active seniors. We conduct courses in memory training, rehabilitation exercises, creative workshops. We organize talks, lectures, walks and excursions, instructional health exercises or games to support memory.

We ensure the protection of lives, health and property of residents during fires and provide effective assistance during emergencies. We carry out the liquidation of fires and technical accidents. We are also engaged in organizing cultural events and working with youth.

The main mission of the foundation is the restoration and preservation of the pilgrimage church of the Nativity of the Virgin Mary in Nicovo and the parish church of St. Blazej in Plánice.

Operation of an association for the protection of nature and valuable sites in the Klatovy region.

The association exercises fishing law, ensures fish breeding, catching or environmental protection, develops and popularises the sport of fishing. It also organises amateur, league and international competitions and issues fishing licences.
