The Department orders the removal of buildings, notifies building permits and decisions on extending the validity of building permits, receives notifications to the building authority, applications for landscaping, applications for approval and building permits, and issues decisions on changes in the use of buildings.

State secondary vocational school providing education in two-year and four-year vocational courses in Mechanic Adjuster, Cosmetic Services, Logistics and Financial Advisor, Gastronomy and Business.

The Department is composed of the sections of registration and control of entrepreneurs and registration of agricultural entrepreneurs. It issues certified outputs from public administration registers - Czechpoint and carries out vidimation and legalisation.

The unit ensures the protection of public order, receives notifications from the public and conducts investigations into offences and crimes committed in their area of jurisdiction.

The department provides driver registry information, exchanges and issues driver's licenses, implements driver license suspensions and restrictions, administers the point system, makes decisions on provisional license suspensions, and is the administrator of the public space use fee.

We run a primary art school for 270 pupils, focusing on teaching music, art and literature and drama. We teach violin, double bass, acoustic, electric and bass guitar, drums, piano, electric keyboard, recorder and flute. We organize many concerts.

Providing complete care for 190 clients with mental retardation. Users live in family-type cells or in their own rooms and flats with sanitary facilities. The facility also includes art studios and workshops for occupational rehabilitation, a gymnasium, rooms for physiotherapy and more.

We offer sports and leisure activities for children and young people. We run supervised clubs for children. The clubs are equipped with computers and board games. We run a floorball team and a kindergarten centre called Maya. We publish a magazine called Domeček. We organize sports competitions.

We operate a trade union.

The Department administers the budget, taxes and fees, accounting and regional development, and performs the tasks entrusted to it in the preparation, negotiation, approval and implementation of the budgets of contributory organisations established by the City and in the control of the management of their funds.

We ensure the protection of lives, health and property of residents during fires and provide effective assistance during emergencies. We carry out the liquidation of fires and technical accidents. We are also engaged in organizing cultural events and working with youth.
