The first written report dates back to 976. There are several monuments of great historical, cultural and natural history significance in the city. Most of them are connected by a 10 km long nature trail.

We ensure the protection of lives, health and property of residents during fires and provide effective assistance during emergencies. We carry out the liquidation of fires and technical accidents. We are also engaged in organizing cultural events and working with youth.

An international educational movement for youth and children aged 6 and up organizing meetings, expeditions, events and camps. The basic mission is to promote the personality development of young people, their spiritual, moral, intellectual, social and physical abilities.

Lending of books and magazines. Sale of small souvenirs. Public internet available. We provide photocopying and other services for the public.

We run a primary school for 85 pupils with a day care and canteen. At the school we offer a movement games and English language club.

We run an association supporting the reconstruction of the organ in the Church of the Nativity.

Sport fishing on the Mokrouš pond. In the surroundings it is possible to use cycling trails.
