We operate a municipal library. We provide full-time and absentee loans of books and periodicals, information and library services. We offer internet for the public, copying and scanning. The library also provides interlibrary loan service.

The Association exercises fishing law, ensures the breeding, protection and catching of fish or the protection of the environment, and develops and popularizes the sport of fishing. It also organises amateur, league and international competitions and issues fishing licences.

We run a kindergarten for 56 children with a dispensary. We strive to teach children independence, creativity and self-confidence. We promote the healthy physical, mental and social development of the child. We organize cultural, sports and social events for children and their parents.

The first written report dates back to 1169. The town is located at an altitude of 413 metres. There are 1165 inhabitants. It has 15 districts. In the town there are restaurants, shops, post office, accommodation, ATM, petrol station and much more.
