The institution is a body under the direct authority of the Minister of Defence for planning and coordinating his work programme. It comprehensively ensures and coordinates protocol activities.

Organise informal gatherings for families with young children. We offer a cultural and sports program for parents with preschoolers. We organize Children's Days, Witches' Rej, Drakiads, Spring Welcome, Lantern Parades, Masopustní parade of masks and others.
