We are a cultural and fringe association that focuses on the development of social and cultural life in our village. We organize events such as the Osov Regatta and the Osov Chord, which bring the local community together and contribute to the preservation of our cultural heritage.

The first written report dates from 1348. The township is situated at an altitude of 345 metres. Karlštejn Castle or the wax museum is located here. The town lies on the banks of the Berounka River in the Protected Landscape Area of the Bohemian Karst.

We operate a non-profit civic association. We organize cultural and sporting events and take care of playgrounds.

The organization makes decisions about pension and sickness insurance benefits or the return of benefits. It collects insurance premiums and state employment policy contributions, acts in court, performs tasks in the payment of benefits abroad and ensures the issue of forms.

We provide absentee (home) lending of books, audiobooks, board games and magazines for adult and children's readers. You will find a children's corner, seed room, swap or exhibitions.

We run a primary school for 46 pupils with a canteen and a day care centre. We have tape recorders, VCRs, televisions, CD players, electrophone organs and a piano. The equipment also includes a video camera, digital camera, data projectors, interactive whiteboards and laptops.
