The first written report dates back to 1436. The village is located at an altitude of 176 metres. There are 1036 inhabitants. The village has a kindergarten and a primary school, a volunteer fire brigade, a hunting association and a football club. Provision of Czech POINT services.

We operate a nursery with a total capacity of 37 children. The building is surrounded by a spacious school garden with plenty of green space and wooden play features. It also includes a school canteen. For children we offer pre-swimming and skating classes, regular visits to the salt cave and recorder playing.

Primary school for 60 pupils with a school nursery. We organize swimming lessons, performances, witch parties and handball. We run language, sports, physical drama and music clubs. We focus on computer work, outdoor school. There is a sports field, gym and more.

We operate a civil association for the integration of people with intellectual and combined disabilities. We help with the creation of jobs with the support of assistants for people with intellectual disabilities.

Outreach and outpatient social service provided to families with children who find themselves in an unfavourable social situation, when the development of children is threatened as a result of the effects of a long-term crisis social situation, which the family cannot overcome with its own strength and when there are other risks of threatening the development of children.
