The first written report dates back to 1257. The township is located at an altitude of 206 metres. We organize cultural and social events. There is a kindergarten and primary school and a playground.

The aim of the association is to contribute to a greater understanding between citizens and at the same time motivate everyone not to be indifferent to what is happening in the village and its surroundings, as well as to restore respect for nature and strive for its protection.

Association of pigeon fanciers, organising carrier pigeon races and shows.

We are an interdenominational non-profit organization serving children, parents and congregations of all churches. We are funded primarily by donations from our friends.

Operation of a kindergarten for 53 children. The children are provided with meals and a ceramics, art and speech therapy club. There is also the possibility of attending an English club. There is also play in the garden and sandpit, on climbing frames and swings.

Primary school for 267 pupils with day care and dining room. We publish a school magazine. We offer a range of clubs for pupils and organise sporting and cultural events. We participate in many educational programmes.

An institute supporting people integrating Christian faith and scholarship in the 21st century.

Community of congregations of the Evangelical Church of Czech Brethren in the Poděbrady region. It includes a seniority committee and Jerome's unity. We organize seniority collections and seniority education.

Private primary art school for 1400 pupils with a focus on teaching music, art, dance and literature and drama. We teach piano, guitar, violin, drums, flute and French horn or computer animation, drawing, ceramics and folk dance, Irish step and street dance.
