The first written record dates from 1319. The village is situated at an altitude of 353 metres. In our village we have a volunteer fire brigade, a sports union Jíloviště and a club Klubíčko.

Our corps has 113 members, of which 29 are young firefighters up to 18 years of age and 19 are members of the emergency unit. It is classified in the category JP03, which means that it also goes outside the cadastral territory of our municipality.

Support the development of hunting and nature conservation. We organize courses for the purpose of obtaining a hunting license and trophy breeding shows.

Private primary art school for 1400 pupils with a focus on teaching music, art, dance and literature and drama. We teach piano, guitar, violin, drums, flute and French horn or computer animation, drawing, ceramics and folk dance, Irish step and street dance.

The Vltava Rover Association. We support cultural life and traditions related to the Vltava River.

Primary school for 714 pupils with a day care and dining room. There are clubs for movement, sports, language, ceramics and computer science.

Arranging services and spiritual meetings.

Operation of a kindergarten for 112 children in the Healthy Kindergarten project under the auspices of the World Health Organization. We focus on the development of the child's personality and communication skills. The project includes healthy nutrition, integration of handicapped children, artephysics, speech therapist and special educator.

The Jesenice Municipal Office provides services for citizens in the areas of town administration, population registration, civil registry, Czech POINT, construction management, transport, environment, education, culture, sport and public space management. It participates in the development of the town and community life.

The association is established to promote and implement activities related to the diagnosis and treatment of breast diseases.
