We run a state vocational secondary school. We offer one extension course, namely Entrepreneurship.

Providing construction and legal activities of the city. Focusing on the department of zoning, building code, agricultural land protection, water management, agriculture, nature and air protection.

The State Secondary Vocational School provides training in the three-year fields of confectioner, carpenter, cook - waiter, gardener, butcher - smoker, nursing services.

We operate a municipal library. We lend educational literature, fiction and magazines. We have an online book catalogue, adult and children's and young adult sections. We provide lending, photocopying services and internet access. We organize talks and other library events.

Protecting the lives, health and property of the public during fires and providing effective assistance during emergencies. We provide events, training and public education for emergencies. We provide state fire supervision and offer a psychological service.

We operate a sports club of Czech tourists in Třešt'. We organize walking and cycling events and children's days for children.

The first written report dates back to 1349. The town is situated at an altitude of 545 metres. Cultural sights include a castle, the Church of St. Catherine of Siena, St. Martin's Church and a synagogue. There are libraries, a kindergarten and a primary school. The tradition of the nativity scene is still alive in the town.

We operate the Czech Breeders Association.

We are an association that brings together people interested in the history of the city. We organize museum Fridays in the cinema and publish the History of the town.
