We operate a municipal library. We lend educational literature, children's literature, poetry, fiction and magazines. We have an online catalogue of books and internet access. We provide lending, bibliographic information and interlibrary loan services. We organize literary talks and events for the public.

There are a total of 13 classrooms, a gymnasium, vocational classrooms, workshops for learning practical activities, a training kitchen and a ping-pong table.

The first written record dates back to 1261. The village is situated at an altitude of 247 metres. We provide Czech POINT services. In the village there is the Church of St. Angel the Guardian, the Chapel of the Holy Trinity, Bartek's water mill No. 99 and a stone cross built in 1786.
