The first written report dates back to 1258. The village is located at an altitude of 182 metres. 3393 inhabitants live on the territory. The village has a late Baroque church of St. Wenceslas, an archaeological site of stone tools, tusks and bones from the Paleolithic and Eneolithic periods and a spa.

We focus on organic farming controls and issue exemptions for the use of conventional seeds and seedlings. We organise seminars and issue professional publications.
