The State Vocational Secondary School provides education in four-year courses in hotel management, ecology and environment, arts and crafts woodworking and two-year extension courses in business and mechanisation of agriculture and forestry. The first written report dates back to 1235. The village is situated at an altitude of 267 metres. The village includes a restaurant, a cultural hall, a Roman Catholic parish, a primary school, a kindergarten and various monuments.
