We are in the business of organizing religious services and spiritual meetings. We teach religion, operate a parish library, organize pilgrimages and garden parties. The parish is located in the Archdiocese of Olomouc, deanery of Kroměříž. We include the branch church of St. Anne in Jestřabice and the church of St. Clement in Stupava.
The State Vocational Secondary School provides education in four-year courses in hotel management, ecology and environment, arts and crafts woodworking and two-year extension courses in business and mechanisation of agriculture and forestry. We organize talks, excursions, trips and other events for pupils.
We strive to make people with hearing impairments and the elderly as independent as possible from other people and institutions. We defend their rights and interests.
The first written report dates back to 1235. The village is situated at an altitude of 267 metres. The village includes a restaurant, a cultural hall, a Roman Catholic parish, a primary school, a kindergarten and various monuments.

Kindergarten for 56 children with dining room. Children who do not attend the kindergarten can also visit. Swimming, singing and English language lessons offered. We run a music and creative drama club. We provide speech therapy.
Primary school with a capacity of 100 pupils with a day care and dining room offering religious education and sports, dyslexia, drama and music and folklore clubs. There is a school library and a school council. We participate in various domestic and international projects.
