We operate a comprehensive grammar school providing four years of study. Students have the opportunity to take skiing, sports and tourism courses and foreign excursions. The school has a school dulcimer band and choir.

The municipal office provides all the necessary information to citizens. We operate an electronic official board and e-office. We are located in the Uherské Hradiště district in the Zlín Region on the right bank of the Morava River. The first written mention of the village dates back to 1131.

Running an educational agency. Our priority is the continuing education of teaching staff. The offer is intended primarily for teaching staff of schools and educational institutions, but also for other interested non-teaching staff.

We provide civil registration and population registration. We administer the education, culture, social department and deal with newspaper publishing. We maintain a registration office with data on registration, change, cancellation or termination of permanent residence of citizens and the agenda of the misdemeanour commission. We process the voters' list.

Primary school for 1110 pupils with extended maths and science teaching. There is a canteen, a day care centre and a club.
