The first written report dates back to 1261. The town is located at an altitude of 275 metres. An important and dominant historical monument of the town is the parish church of the Nativity of St. Baptist, which was built in the early 19th century.

Within the Slušovicko micro-region we organize various events such as a social ball and an Advent fair. At the fair we offer local specialties, Christmas decorations and craft workshops for children. Our activities promote cooperation between schools and the development of education in the region. We look forward to your participation.
