I operate a painting and sculpture studio.

Artworks by Alexandra Koláčková. I enjoy interpreting the face of a public place in a joyful and surprising way. There is almost always an element of play in my work. Playfulness is more or less innate in every human being, and the fact that we forget it due to the pressures and obligations of adulthood does not mean that we have lost it.

I make sculptures and statues from sandstone, concrete and artificial sandstone. I sell ready-made sculptures and I also create on commission.

I see something beautiful in every piece of wood and I make sure not to remove that beauty. It would be a shame to relegate wood to just a material, impersonal and cold. I try to preserve its original character so that it continues to be wood like a tree, but at the same time performs some function, such as a post or beam.

I specialize in fine art, stone carving and wood carving with a focus on working with natural materials. I use mainly Gori and Bozan sandstone, trachyte, Carrara marble and wood from black poplar, ash and lime trees. I make replicas of baroque statues, totems, statues of knights, dogs and others.
