We are a voluntary civic music association bringing together active players of musical instruments in the Tábor region. It was founded in 1877 by Dr. Karel Nedbal, father of the famous Czech composer, world conductor and violist of the famous Czech Quartet Oskar Nedbal. We organize concerts and performances.

We run an orchestra focusing on music from the classical period. We offer hall rental.

The Film Philharmonic is a professional symphony orchestra. It was formed in 2013 as an ensemble bringing together students and graduates from high schools and colleges of music. It performs mostly with a cast of more than 60 members.

We operate a wind orchestra of the Vimperk elementary art school.

The Academy of Chamber Music is dedicated to supporting young talent from the Czech Republic and to chamber music education. Teaching is carried out in the form of projects, during which the scholarship holders prepare a programme together with lecturers, which is finally performed in several follow-up concerts.
